Resilient Bars, Clips & Channels

Resilient bars, acoustic clips and furring channels are used to create a separation layer between the existing structure and the new plasterboard lining. This collection includes resilient bars, isolation clips, furring channels, ceiling hangers and related acoustic support products for wall and ceiling sound isolation systems. These products are commonly used with acoustic plasterboard, mineral wool, acoustic membranes and acoustic sealant to build a more effective soundproofing system.

For best results, clips, channels and resilient bars must be installed correctly, with the right fixing centres, board layers and perimeter sealing. Final acoustic performance will depend on the full build-up, the existing structure, installation quality and any flanking noise paths.
