Soundproofing King primarily supplies soundproofing and acoustic materials. Where appropriate, we can introduce customers to independent installers or contractors who may be able to carry out the work.
Can you find an installer near me?
Send us your project postcode and we'll check whether we have a suitable installer covering your area. Installer availability varies according to location, project type and timescale.
Can you help me choose the materials as well?
Yes. Tell us about the construction, the type of noise you're trying to reduce and the dimensions of the area. We can help identify suitable products and provide a materials quotation.
Will the installer provide a quotation?
Installation pricing, labour, access requirements and timescales should be agreed directly between you and the installer.
Can I install the products myself?
Many soundproofing products can be fitted by experienced DIY customers and general tradespeople. More complicated wall, floor and ceiling systems can benefit from an installer experienced with acoustic construction.
Does soundproofing guarantee complete silence?
No. Acoustic performance depends on the existing construction, the sound source, flanking transmission, the selected system and the quality of installation. Soundproofing should normally be considered a method of reducing sound transmission, rather than guaranteeing that all sound will be eliminated.
