The Furring Channel 2.4m is a key component in acoustic clip-and-channel soundproofing systems. It is designed for use with GenieClip isolation clips and compatible iKoustic acoustic clip systems, creating a decoupled support framework for plasterboard, soundboard or acoustic lining boards.

Unlike standard resilient bars, this top hat furring channel provides a more controlled and secure separation between the existing structure and the new internal lining. When used correctly with acoustic isolation clips, it helps reduce vibration transfer through walls and ceilings, improving the overall acoustic performance of the system.

It is suitable for both residential and commercial soundproofing projects, including party walls, separating ceilings, flats, home studios, offices and other areas where improved airborne noise reduction is required.
