TANShield 50SA - Self Adhesive Acoustic Membrane
Supplied by Soundproofing King, TANShield 50SA is a UK-made, self-adhesive acoustic barrier. Its mineral-filled EPR and thermoplastic polymer blend forms a dense, flexible layer for use with plasterboard, timber, metal, plastic and similar substrates.
Fit it directly against the supporting panel or structure. The pliable material follows uneven shapes, including pipes and ducts. A polypropylene scrim reinforces the membrane, with adhesive backing to assist fitting. The formulation contains no lead, bitumen or unrefined aromatic oils.
