Pliteq GenieMat DBL is a dual-layer acoustic underlay designed to reduce impact noise through floors. It is commonly used in flats, apartments, housing conversions, refurbishments and commercial buildings where improved floor sound insulation is required.
The range includes DBL10 10mm / 40dB and DBL15 15mm / 46dB options, giving you a choice between a lower-build-up acoustic mat and a thicker, higher-performance option.
Each sheet measures 1220mm x 1220mm and covers approximately 1.49m². The mat is made from recycled rubber material and is designed to sit below suitable floor finishes as part of a complete acoustic floor build-up.
GenieMat DBL can be used beneath carpet, laminate, engineered timber, LVT and tiled floor finishes, subject to the full floor specification and manufacturer guidance. It helps reduce footfall noise, vibration transfer and impact sound passing through the floor structure.

Lay GenieMat DBL over a clean, dry and level subfloor. Sheets should be tightly butted together, with joints taped where required by the system specification.
