MLV50 SA - Self Adhesive Acoustic Membrane
Available from Soundproofing King, MLV50 SA adds a dense, mineral-filled barrier layer to soundproofing constructions. Use it alongside sheet materials to increase the mass of walls, floors and ceilings. This version has self-adhesive backing.
Developed and produced in the UK, the membrane contains no lead, bitumen or unrefined aromatic oils. It resists mineral oils, grease and alkalis, is non-staining and is straightforward to fit. Its thermoplastic composition allows recycling where the end-use application permits. It is suitable for use in Part E sound-insulation designs; overall compliance depends on the complete construction.
