Knauf Plank 19mm Acoustic Plasterboard 2400mm x 600mm
Knauf Plank 19mm 2400mm x 600mm Tapered Edge
Knauf Plank 19mm is a dense gypsum plasterboard used as an acoustic mass layer in partition, floor and ceiling systems. At 19mm thick, it provides more mass than standard plasterboard, helping improve the acoustic performance of suitable wall, floor and ceiling build-ups.
The board is supplied in a narrow 2400mm x 600mm plank format, making it easier to handle in certain installation areas compared with full-size plasterboard sheets. It is commonly used in acoustic floor systems, separating floor constructions, partitions, ceiling linings, column casings and specialist drylining details.
Knauf Plank is designed for use as part of a complete system. Final acoustic performance depends on the full construction, including the existing structure, board layers, insulation, isolation products, sealing and installation quality.

Installation Notes
Install Knauf Plank in accordance with the relevant Knauf system guidance and project specification. Boards should be fixed to suitable framing or used within approved floor and partition build-ups where specified.
Use correct fixings, board jointing, perimeter sealing and acoustic detailing. Avoid leaving gaps around board edges, service penetrations and junctions, as these can reduce acoustic performance.
Knauf Plank is not intended for areas subject to high humidity. Use an appropriate moisture-resistant board where required.
