KNAUF Earthwool Loft Roll 44 Combi-Cut
KNAUF Earthwool Loft Roll 44 Combi-Cut is a glass mineral wool insulation roll designed for insulating cold pitched roofs at ceiling level. It helps improve thermal performance by reducing heat loss through the loft space, making it suitable for domestic and commercial roof insulation projects.
The roll is supplied in a Combi-Cut format, meaning it can be installed as a full-width 1140mm roll or split into narrower widths to suit common joist centres. This makes installation quicker and more flexible, especially when fitting insulation between or over ceiling joists.
Loft Roll 44 is lightweight, flexible and easy to cut, making it suitable for new-build, refurbishment and loft top-up insulation work.

Typical Uses
KNAUF Earthwool Loft Roll 44 is commonly used for insulating loft spaces in houses, flats, extensions and commercial buildings. It can be installed between ceiling joists or laid over existing insulation as a top-up layer where additional thermal performance is required.
When upgrading loft insulation, make sure ventilation paths are maintained and avoid compressing the insulation, as compression can reduce thermal performance.
Installation Notes
Install the roll between or over ceiling joists, depending on the required build-up. The Combi-Cut perforations allow the roll to be used at full width or split into narrower sections to suit the joist spacing.
For best results, lay insulation neatly with close-butted joints and avoid gaps around edges, pipes, cables and other obstructions. Do not block loft ventilation and always follow the manufacturer’s installation guidance.
