Kingspan Kooltherm K103 Floor Board

Kingspan Kooltherm K103 is a phenolic board for insulating solid concrete floors and suspended beam-and-block floors. Its low thermal conductivity helps reach the required floor resistance with less depth than standard PIR.

The board is laid as a continuous layer beneath screed, chipboard or the specified floor deck. It is not a finished walking surface.

Close joints tightly, use perimeter insulation and protect the boards from concentrated loads while the floor layer above is installed.

Installation

Cut boards or rolls accurately, close every joint and keep the insulation layer continuous at corners, openings and service penetrations. Use the fixings, tapes, membranes and covering layers stated for the selected construction.
